Amazing Tea Blends

Today we are going to be talking about tea!

I’ve shared with you my favorite tea blend here, but today I wanted to share with you some of my father-in-law’s favorite teas! First let me tell you a little about him and what got him interested in tea. A couple years ago he started having issues with his adrenals that ultimately led to anxiety, high blood pressure and sleep issues. He saw a functional medicine doctor who recommended he quit drinking caffeine while he was healing his adrenals. This man was so serious about his coffee that he even owned a missionary based coffee roaster named Three Corner Coffee, that’s how much he loved coffee. Ultimately for health reasons he had to replace the coffee to help with his adrenals and anxiety so he started drinking tea.

Well, my father-in-law is one of those guys who, once interested in something, will research everything and experiment until he gets exactly what he wants. You know the ones I am talking about…those engineer types, I think we all have someone in our family like this. Every time I go to his house he is telling me about this new tea blend he made that he absolutely loves that has helped him with his anxiety and other issues. He now has so much experience blending his own brews that I think of him as a tea connoisseur. I thought it would be a real treat to get a list of his favorite blends to share with all of you! I love the idea of creating your own blend of teas specifically for you and your health concerns. Its great to buy loose leaf tea and I encourage you to learn more about tea and eventually make your own blend just the way you like it.

Note: These are all loose leaf teas so you need a tea infuser to hold the tea leaves while it steeps in your hot water. You can find a great tea infuser here.

Note: all teas mentioned below are caffeine free.
